The Gotland Game Conference gives us a nice public forum to debut our game as a vertical slice and get feedback from the general public. Developing this game at a lightning pace means that during these ten short weeks we have had little time to play test the game.
The conference affords us a couple of days to gather data and feedback so we can better understand how our design decisions have affected our game. This better helps us improve, polish and or change our game as needed to enhance the player experience.
